Architectural paintings and ceramics · one of a kind

The joy is in the details

Scroll

Colour-soaked, unique paintings for exceptional spaces.

Every piece begins in architecture: arches, windows, the quiet geometry of a room, and is finished in colour chosen to lift the mood of a space and the people living in it. Painted by hand using a variety of mixed media and structures shaped in clay. One of a kind, always.

About the art

My work is inspired by the precision, depth, and craftsmanship that define architectural design. While not every painting depicts buildings, each piece is created with the same meticulous attention to detail that architecture demands. Every composition is carefully considered, resulting in artworks that celebrate texture, form, light, and complexity. My collection of Architectural Paintings reflects a design-led approach, where every brushstroke is intentional and every piece is crafted to evoke a sense of timeless sophistication.

Behind-the-scenes sketches

Before creating this painting, I developed several collages that combined a variety of architectural styles not typically seen within a single composition. I then selected my preferred design and translated it into a finished acrylic painting. I chose acrylic paints because they allowed me to create smooth blends and subtle transitions, helping to establish a calm, cohesive atmosphere throughout the piece.

Description

Architectural Symphony brings together landmarks from different places and eras, weaving them into a single imagined cityscape.

The composition celebrates the dialogue between historic and contemporary architecture, where each building retains its own identity while contributing to a unified visual narrative. Blending memory, craftsmanship, and imagination, the painting invites the viewer to explore the connections between architecture, time, and place within one harmonious composition.

About

I'm Nicole, learning architecture and painting.

My work lives where the two meet: the structure of a building and the feeling of colours. Architecture gives every piece its structure, arches, windows, facade and materials. Colour gives it its mood.

I work in oil, acrylic, watercolour and fineliner, and I sculpt small architectural objects in ceramic. Whatever the medium, the aim is the same: bright, playful pieces that pull a little of childhood, home and comfort back into a space — made by hand, one of a kind, and meant to be lived with.
